Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in a variety of marketing roles across different industry sectors who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and demonstrate a range of managerial skills.

Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams in conducting marketing campaigns.

Entry Requirements

  • 18 years or over

  • Basic computer skills

  • Meet all Student Visa requirements

  • Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent

  • English proficiency of 5.5 IELTS or equivalent

  • Have completed the following units (or equivalent competencies): BSBCMM411 Make presentations; BSBCRT412 Articulate, present and debate ideas; BSBMKG433 Undertake marketing activities; BSBMKG435 Analyse consumer behaviour; BSBMKG439 Develop and apply knowledge of communications industry; and BSBWRT411 Write complex documents. Equivalent competencies are predecessors to these units, which have been mapped as equivalent;
    OR
    Have two years equivalent full-time relevant work experience



Pathways Information

After achieving this qualification, candidates may undertake other relevant Advanced Diploma qualifications. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:

Course Delivery

82 weeks classroom delivery (including a maximum of 15 weeks holiday), depending on intake. Students must be present for a minimum of 20 hours class time each week as per your Student Visa requirements.
